Well done to all players who took part in the James Tobin memorial shield. Thanks to the teachers in Knockanore NS for facilitating the tournament. Knockanore NS
We were delighted to attend the medal presentation to the Roinn C double winners in Knockanore National School today recognising the recent success of the school boys and girls hurling/camogie teams.
A huge thanks to the school for their efforts all year round and also in facilitating our coaches to work with the kids.
Our coaches in the school should also take great pride in this success and our continued thanks for your volunteering.
We were delighted to sponsor the delicious food put on by Helen Murphy for the kids, which was really appreciated by both the school and the kids.
Peter Queally made a surprise entrance to present the medals and his presence made a big impression with the kids.
A great day enjoyed by all, here’s to many more !

Munster Final
Well done to Seamus Harnedy and the Cork Hurlers on their memorable win in the Munster Final at the weekend. Special mention to former player Derek Kelly who was umpire for the game. Derek can now say he umpired the first Munster Final in history to go to penalties. Thomas Walsh can certainly be proud of his performance as referee for the game. Also well done to our former trainer Brendan Coleman of Youghal GAA and Donal O'Rourke from Cappoquin GAA on being a part of Pat Ryans coaching team for the Rebels.
