Lotto

Numbers drawn on Monday 16th March were 1,6,16,26. The Jackpot was €20,000 . There was no jackpot winner. The €20 winners were Betty Moloney (Online), Rebecca O'Neill (Online), Michael Lucey, Padraig Ahearne and Nancy Hogan. Next week's jackpot is €20,000. Lotto tickets are on sale from promoters and online. Online tickets are available from the Club Force app (Shamrocks GAA club Waterford) to play the lotto. Also if you play the lotto on clubforce, it is worth checking that your ticket has not expired. There is also a link to the club force app on Shamrocks website. Your support is greatly appreciated. With the jackpot now €20,000 a reminder if you're not in, you can’t win.

League Football

Our season kicked off with a win last Saturday over Bunmahon in the football league on a score of 1-11 to 1-09. Our next round is away to The Geraldines this friday evening in Aglish.

Membership

A reminder to all club members that the deadline for club membership is the 31st March. membership can be paid via clubforce or to any club officer.

Waterford Footballers

Commiserations to the Shamrocks contingent of Billy Hynes and Adam Crawford and the Waterford footballers who were defeated by Tipperary in the league at the weekend.

Michael Lester RIP

The entire GAA world was very sorry to hear of the passing of Michael Lester on Sunday last. His voice and presence became part of so many GAA moments over the years. He had a unique gift for capturing the spirit of the game and sharing it with us all. He will be fondly remembered by players, supporters and communities across the country.
