Premier Intermediate Hurling Quarter Final 

Shamrocks Vs Clashmore Friday 25/08/2023 Fraher Field at 7:30pm 

Shamrocks shooting was a bit off at the start of this game, registering to wides in the first two minutes before Colm Roche opened the scoring point from play. Padraig Hynes added another from a free. Clashmore got off the mark shortly after.  Eoghan  Linihan then had a superb point for the Shamrocks from play.  Padraig Hynes from a free and Billy Hynes from play extended Shamrocks lead. Clashmore then added the  next three points, two from frees and one from play.  Colm Roche landed a long-range free from his own half and followed this up with a superb point from play from in front of the stand.  Padraig Hynes  , then added to the Shamrocks lead with a point from play. Paul O’Connor kept Clashmore in touch with two points from frees before half-time. Shamrocks had a tree more points before halftime with  Colm Roche and Paudie Hynes, adding to one from Free one from play giving a half-time score of Shamrocks, 0-11 points, Clashmore, 0-06

Shamrocks opened up an eight-point lead to start the second half with  Padraig Hynes getting two from frees and one from play.  Clashmore then came into a purple patch where they scored the next six points Clashmore could’ve drawn level, but there are three taking left them down before Kieran, Crawford, steadied the ship for Shamrocks, with a point from play.    Shamrocks finished out the game, scoring three points to Clashmore’s two  winning,on a scoreline of Shamrocks 0-17 Clachmore 0-14
