Shamrocks team post.
Training with Pat Clancy has been going well, with fairly good attendances. We played Ballyhooly in a practice match last Sunday in Knockanore, and after a very lively match emerged winners by 1-15 to 0-15. We had two players making their debut on the team, namely Chris Murphy (son of Pat ‘Bobby’ Murphy), and Adam Crawford, and both players got on the scoresheet and showed excellent promise, looking very comfortable at this level. Training continues in Midleton on Wednesday night, and again next Sunday in Knockanore.

W.L.R Quiz.
Two teams from the club travelled to Lawlors Hotel last Thursday for the final of this table quiz which was held to raise funds for the Waterford Football and Hurlers training fund. Although neither team were in the prizes, the club thnks them for their participation. The teams were, John, Frank, Liam, and Sarah Roche, and Pat Casey, Tom and Cathal O’ Neill. Our congratulations to Abbeyside/Ballinacourty on their victory.

Deise Draw.
The Deise Draw is starting up again, and the first draw will be held on the last Friday in March. You can get your tickets from any committee member.

Sympathies.
Na Seamroga C.L.G. offers it’s sincerest sympathies to John O’ Leary, vice-chairman of the Waterford County Board on the death of his mother which occured last Thursday. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
