Lotto
Numbers drawn on Monday 13th of July were 3,4,15,22. The Jackpot was €20,000 . There was no jackpot winner. The €20 winners were Mairead and Maura Crean (Online), Michael Murphy (Online), Rachael and Emma Walsh, Jo and AnnO'Keeffe and Eamonn Lonergan. Next week's jackpot is €20,000. Lotto tickets are on sale from promoters and online. Online tickets are available from the Club Force app (Shamrocks GAA club Waterford) to play the lotto. Also if you play the lotto on clubforce, it is worth checking that your ticket has not expired. There is also a link to the club force app on Shamrocks website. Your support is greatly appreciated. With the jackpot now €20,000 a reminder if you're not in, you can’t win.
Déise Draw 2026
The new Déise Draw campaign is now underway and Shamrocks GAA Club is once again asking for the support of our members, supporters and wider community.
The Déise Draw remains one of the most important fundraising initiatives for clubs throughout Waterford, with substantial prize funds on offer while directly supporting local club development.
Tickets cost €100 and the draw features five monthly draws with over €126,000 in prizes available to be won. We encourage everyone who can to support the draw and help us continue to develop our facilities, teams and coaching programmes here in Shamrocks Gaa
Club representatives will be contacting members in the coming weeks and tickets can also be purchased through the club.
Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship.
Our premier Intermediate Hurlers are down to play their final group games against Clashmore/Kinsalebeg this Saturday 25th of July at 2.30pm in Cappoquin. Please come along and support the lads.
World Games
France Hurling team paid a visit to Knockanore last evening where we gave them a tour of JFK Park and Astro Turf before refreshments in the Hall. Chairman Tomás Roche and Manager Sean Murphy presented France captain Tom Dutheil with a Shamrocks jersey and he presented a France jersey in return. Among the speakers were Tomás, Gabriel Hynes and Trish Moloney who addressed the visitors in their native language. Thanks to all who helped out on the night.
Also a big thanks to Baldwin Ice Cream and Knockanore Cheese who sponsored the night and also showcasing our French visitors Knockanore’s local cuisine.
All Ireland Final
Well done to Lucas Price who got to play at half time of the All Ireland Hurling Final after being chosen to represent Knockanore National School after their mighty mini 7s County final win earlier this year. What an amazing experience Lucas and hoped you thoroughly enjoyed it.
