Lotto
Numbers drawn on Monday 25th August were 10,12,19,27 The Jackpot was €20,000 . There was no jackpot winner. The €20 winners were Ann Guiry (Online),Billy Hynes(Online), Mary Herlihy, Maura Smith and Anne O’Keeffe. Next week's jackpot is €20,000. Lotto tickets are on sale from promoters and online. Online tickets are available from the Club Force app (Shamrocks GAA club Waterford) to play the lotto. Also if you play the lotto on clubforce, it is worth checking that your ticket has not expired. There is also a link to the club force app on Shamrocks website. Your support is greatly appreciated. With the jackpot now €20,000 a reminder if you're not in, you can’t win.
Déise Draw 2026
The new Déise Draw campaign is now underway and Shamrocks GAA Club is once again asking for the support of our members, supporters and wider community.
The Déise Draw remains one of the most important fundraising initiatives for clubs throughout Waterford, with substantial prize funds on offer while directly supporting local club development.
Tickets cost €100 and the draw features five monthly draws with over €126,000 in prizes available to be won. We encourage everyone who can to support the draw and help us continue to develop our facilities, teams and coaching programmes here in Shamrocks Gaa
Club representatives will be contacting members in the coming weeks and tickets can also be purchased through the club.
Intermediate Footballers
Our Footballers Championship their championship this weekend against Ballinameela. The game takes place Saturday 5th of September at 3.30pm in Lismore. Stay tuned to clubs social media pages if any change in time or venue.
Paddy Geary RIP
It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of one of our most loyal and familiar supporters Paddy Geary.A great follower of the Shamrocks, he was a constant presence on the sideline down through the years and rarely, if ever, missed a game.
Through good days and difficult ones, his support for the club never wavered, and his familiar presence at our matches will be greatly missed by players, members and fellow supporters alike.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the Geary, Murphy and O’Keeffe family and many friends at this time. His loyalty and support for the Shamrocks will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
