Lotto
Numbers drawn on Friday 4th August were 4,5,8,18 The Jackpot was €20,000 . There was no jackpot winner. The €20 winners were Sinead Lenihan (Online), Pat Walsh (Online), Michael Leahy, Mick and Theresa Guiry and Martin Sheehan . Next week's jackpot is €20,000. Lotto tickets are on sale from promoters and online. Online tickets are available from the Club Force app (Shamrocks GAA club Waterford) to play the lotto. Also if you play the lotto on clubforce, it is worth checking that your ticket has not expired. There is also a link to the club force app on Shamrocks website. Your support is greatly appreciated. With the jackpot now €20,000 a reminder if you're not in, you can’t win.
Déise Draw 2026
The new Déise Draw campaign is now underway and Shamrocks GAA Club is once again asking for the support of our members, supporters and wider community.
The Déise Draw remains one of the most important fundraising initiatives for clubs throughout Waterford, with substantial prize funds on offer while directly supporting local club development.
Tickets cost €100 and the draw features five monthly draws with over €126,000 in prizes available to be won. We encourage everyone who can to support the draw and help us continue to develop our facilities, teams and coaching programmes here in Shamrocks Gaa
Club representatives will be contacting members in the coming weeks and tickets can also be purchased through the clu
Intermediate Football Championship
Our Intermediate footballers got their championship campaign off to an impressive start on Saturday in Lismore, recording a convincing 3-15 to 1-08 victory over Ballinameela.
Shamrocks made a strong start to the contest and were firmly in control by half-time, leading 2-11 to 0-03. Ciaran Lenihan and Adam McSweeney raised the green flags during an excellent opening half, with the lads taking a commanding advantage into the interval.
Shamrocks continued to control proceedings after the restart, with Kieran Crawford adding our third goal of the afternoon. The team maintained their advantage through to the final whistle to secure a comprehensive 3-15 to 1-08 win.
It was a very encouraging performance from the lads and a great way to begin the Intermediate Football Championship.
Our next championship game is against Ardmore this Sunday at 2.30pm in Lismore
