Club Notes: 28th April 2013

Club Lotto.

The numbers drawn in last Saturday night’s draw were 3-14-24-27 and there was no winner. €20 winners were Mary Tobin, Sean Hogan, James & Aidan Crean, Margaret Maher, Marie Baldwin. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,950.

Intermediate Hurling Championship.
Next Sunday sees the first Intermediate hurling championship match of 2013 which pairs Shamrocks against Abbeyside in Lismore at 7pm. Training under coach Pat Clancy has been going well, attendances good, and the younger lads have really stepped up to the plate this year and given real competition for places on the team. Abbeyside will provide a real threat, one we will not take lightly, and we will need all the team to perform to their maximum ability to win. Throw-in is at 7pm, so come along to Lismore next Sunday evening and give the lads some support.

Junior Hurling Championship.
The first round of the Junior Hurling championship also takes place this coming Monday 6th May, we play Clashmore in Cappoquin at 2.30. They are also in action the following Friday night against Cappoquin in Ballyduff, and that throws in at 7.30. We wish them the best of luck.

Shamrocks C.L.G. would like to offer it’s condolences to the family and friends of John Hartigan, Tallow, who passed away last Friday. Also to the family and friends of

Waterford Minors.
Best of luck to Colm Roche who lines out for the Waterford minor hurlers tonight (Wed) against Clare in Dungarvan.
